On late July 25th, I was assigned the office of one of hundred Preparatory Budgeting Committee members of Incheon Metropolitan City by the mayor, Mr. Younggil Song for the 1st term of 2 years.
On that same day, I belonged to the Sub Committee of Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority at my option. This sub committee is composed of ten members and one of ten sub committees; Planning, Economy, Health, Woman, Construction, Culture, Metro City, Environment, Harbor and IFEZ.
At a glance, Incheon is facing many a challenge. Among them, the municipal financial gravity, the impending 2014 Asian Game and the completion of 3 Free Economic Zones, 2 of which, Youngjong Heaven City and Cheongna International City projects have incessantly haunted Incheon and its people with the grimace of the recession of the lack of the migrants and the dwellers since 2003, the molding of the master plan are the key issues.
As one of the very interested Incheon citizens, I will try to probe the circumstances and to find out the solve with the aids and the helps from the earth village. Please stay tuned at this instructive and perhaps lucrative blog in the future.
